St. Ann’s Church

In the early 1900s, burnt Church was served by the famour Father William Morrisey, parish priest of Sts Peter and Paul Parish, Bartibogue. From 1906 until 1959, them ission of St Ann was attached either to Bartibogue, Neguac or Lagaceville.

in 1959 Bishop LeBlance of Bathurst officially erected St. Ann’s as a parish and appointed Father Robert Grattan as its first parish priest. Father Grattan worked diligently, instituting various spiritual and other worth-wile projects. With Father Grattan’s transfer in 1972, St Ann’s once again because attached to Sts. Pater and Paul Parish.
